on the 19th of August I was attacked by a checker who punched me repeatedly on my head and shoulders. I am 80 years old and in a wheelchair . this was an unprovoked attack and I will sue.

I have been a loyal customer of Safeway at Shea and Scottsdale Rd since 1980 and never even thought about making a change to a competitor. I admire and appreciate the helpful staff, customer service, and have admired the store's utilization of people with disabilities. However, since the Covid pandemic, I have been unable to visit that store and chose to use Safeway's home delivery and have been doing so for more than a month. This past Sunday, as normal I ordered my week's groceries for delivery on Monday. When the order arrived it contained substituted items that were incorrect. For example I ordered corn tortillas and received flour tortillas and Luzianne decaf tea bags, but received tea bags that were caffeinated. When I called your customer service to ask how to get a refund for these items, I spoke with Ruby who was short and rude and blamed me for not accepting these items could not be considered substitutions because they were not the correct products. She refused to refund my account and would not allow me to return the items. This situation is unacceptable. I can understand and have accepted substitutions on other orders, but substituting products that are not the same or even related makes no sense to me. I know the amount of the refund is insignificant, but the response by Ruby has put me in a position of having to look for another option for home delivery. In addition, I might suggest that you consider looking into the quality of your staff handling home delivery, your policy for substitutions and returns as well as revising your phone directions to call Instacart for orders they do not deliver.

It's hard to believe. I bought some Lysol spray that kills 99.9% of germs a couple of hours prior to and then decided to return it with reciept in hand (since my dad had already bought some) and thought since the store had been in extremely short supply that other customers might be in need (since the store had been out the last 5 os 6 times I had been in your store} and your store director refused it and said the Albertsons was not accepting any returns.
